Playing Catch-up

I have seriously been the definition of lazy recently so I'll catch you up to speed on what's been going down. The weekend before Halloween was Tommy and Jessica's wedding in Jackson, Mississippi. It was by far the most money wedding I've been to. Rumors circling around guests priced it at around $100,000! Some quick highlights were free golf and buffet for all the guys the day before the wedding, winning a karaoke contest with "F*&! Me Gently," by Tenacious D, and of course the wedding and ridiculous reception. I also got to see some dudes I haven't seen in a long time and met some other cool dudes, I'd briefly met before.

Turkey day I went to Albuquerque to visit some friends and hopefully run into my long lost girlfriend. Visited the friends but never found the girlfriend. Other than that the trip was pretty fun. Basically never left Rob and Candace's house, though Shanna and I did go to Taco Cabana, then McDonald's, then back to Taco Cabana. The trip also included a small performance for about 10 peeps and an encore performance for 5 where I managed to do my favorite thing...make girls cry. I didn't think it was that terrible but apparently so.

This last week has been pretty busy. I went to Utah on business but didn't end up doing squat which was a major downer because I'd never been there before and one of my friends told me it was a pretty cool place. Oh well. Then there was the company XMas Party. Lots of booze and $10 for 2 good slices of prime rib. Not a bad deal. Which leaves us with Lisa McFadden's baby shower. Now I know it's weird for a dude to be going to a baby shower but this was different. Basically just a booze fest. I won a couple prizes though which was sweet, but now I'm remembering that I left them over there. Anyways probably the funniest thing (and you probably had to be there) was when my friend Luke insisted we drink wine because we were playing Scattergories and it would make us smarter. I mean seriously.
