Highway to the Danger Zone
Oh, that's right. I've got aviator sunglasses, tighty whitey's, wet hair, and a need for speed. Ok, nothing that crazy yet but so far
so good. I'm almost 3 weeks into pilot training and things couldn't be better. All the dudes in my flight are wicked cool, and for the
most part it's a non-stop party (well at least for a select few of us). I've gotten A's on all of my exams so far. Now that might seem
impressive to you, especially considering I'm getting them, but in reality it doesn't mean shizzy. The average on the exams has been 97.
So as usual, I'm below average.
Ok, that's enough pilot crap. Let's talk of my surroundings. Valdosta, Georgia isn't that bad. It has 2 things going for it: 1) A college,
and 2) A decent enough nightlife. But then again it doesn't take that much to satisfy me (many of you out there know this). It also has
a great location. Close to a plethora of fun places like Gainesville (GO GATORS), Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa Bay, Tallahassee, and Atlanta.
It definitely has potential. I just wish I was here for a little longer so that I could actually settle in. Oh well, sometimes in and out
is how it's got to be done.
