Leaving the Land of Enchantment

Well, it wasn't supposed to last as long as it did, but I'm sure glad it did. I can't say enough about how great my stay in Albuquerque was. Of course I was there for "the day job," but it turned out to be a 5 month vacation. I know I just got to Tucson and that I haven't had any time for the town to grow on me yet, but it will be a challenge to top Albuquerque. I just wanted to take a few lines to thank those that made it great.

First of all, I of course have to give a shout out to my roommate Matt Stueck. Of the 5 months we were in our apartment, I think we averaged just a little more than a bottle a month, not to mention single-handedly (or double-handedly since there were two of us) being responsible for the recent rise in Miller Lite and Moosehead stock. Next is LuElena, quite possibly the sweetest girl in Albuquerque, and someone who knows what it truely means to care about someone else. She is the one responsible for it being so hard to leave Albuquerque. Others who made my stay so great were Norris, Nate, Eric, Halladay, Bryan, Curtis, Mike, Mark, Paul, Shane and Jen, Marisa, Erica, Stacy, Rob and Candace, Bob, Parker, Kaylyn, Danielle, Renee, Matt Hanlan, the old crustees Ken, Larry, Marv, chick magnet and Dathan, Element 37, Chris Dracup and everyone at O'Niells Uptown. For those of you I forgot, I'll remember soon enough and put you on the list, or email me and I'll put you on. Don't take it personally, it's just hard to remember everyone you've met in the last 5 months.
