Introducing the Howells

It's very fitting to say that everyone had a nice time. Especially since we were in Niceville...seriously. We start with Monday night and the "Bachelor Party." In quotes only because we let the girls tag along. McGuire's was our first stop for some drinks and munchies. My newest favorite drink that begins with Irish...the Irish Wake, a McGuire's specialty. I don't know what the hell is in it, but it definitely will put you on your ass, or at least get you headed in the right direction. After that, we headed to the hotel room. A sweet suite on the beach with a huge ass balcony. Loaded up a little more then headed to Club 10 (or as we came to know it, Club A-cup). Some money was exchanged and the next thing ya know, Joe's on-stage with all the girls...in his skivies. Then out comes a belt, and this girl is absolutely going to town on Joe's ass. I've never seen such emotion on the boys face. That is until later that night when he was throwing up from the 6th floor balcony. Oh by the way, it hit every single balcony on the way down.

Tuesday was pretty chill. The fellas went to an exclusive golf course for a wicked reduced price thanks to our new friend Drew. Three teams of 3 with me, Drew and Wes being the only 3 that finished. Afterwards, I chilled at the Howell's until Zach got into town. While, I'm there however, I found the new contraceptive...babysitting 9 boys ranging from ages 5-12. God bless those girls that were actually doing the babysitting. While everyone else was busy with the rehearsal dinner, Zach and I rocked to the sounds of my good friend Chris McCarty. Not so much rocked since it was an acoustic set, but it was stellar nonetheless. The wedding party decided to be lame and not come out so we met up with them at the hotel and got shwacked playing Texas Hold'em, the PhilVilleza.com "Game of the Week."

Ah New Year's Eve. The wedding was very nice. Your typical wedding I guess, I don't know I haven't been to too many, though lately it seems I have. The reception was "dry" due to restrictions by the community center where it was held. That didn't stop us though...from having a good time I mean. I'll take the 5th. After the reception we hit up a place called Nico's for our New Year's celebration. It was the only place that wasn't charging an arm and a leg to get in plus let kids not 21 hang out (and drink to be completely honest). It was in a shopping plaza, that's all I'll say negative about this place. You could get a drink in 30 seconds and they were wicked strong. The DJ took our requests and there was always a hot girl to dance with. Sure we're good friends with their older brother, but I'm just talkin about dancing...or am I? Just kidding...or perhaps not? Who knows.

That's pretty much the trip. Thursday was a no action day. Most people left or were too banged up to do anything. We played Texas Hold'em all night at a ginormous beach house while we watched FSU play Miami. It's sad but true when I say all the gator fans were hoping there would be a lot of injuries.

All in all it was an awesome time. "I had an awesome time!" Congratulations Joe and Marsha, I hope life finds you love and happiness.
